How to Find Happiness in Your Life (And Hold On to It)
Last week was about looking at who is around you. Who belongs close, who needs more distance, and whether you have been honest with yourself about the difference.
This week, I pick up right where that left off. Because once you make those calls, something happens. The noise settles.
There is more room. And if you pay attention, there is also more joy.
That is what this week is about. Not as a concept, but as something practical you can actually build.
What clearing your circle actually gives you
When you stop spending energy on the wrong people, it does not just disappear. It goes somewhere. Back to you. Back to the relationships that actually matter. Back to the version of yourself you have been neglecting.
This week is a time to celebrate. Not in a party sense. In a quiet, internal sense. You made the right calls. The people in your inner circle are there on purpose. That is worth acknowledging.
The part nobody talks about
Joy is not a feeling that just shows up and stays. There will be moments when it disappears. When the negative thoughts come back. When you start telling yourself the old story about what you deserve or what you are worth.
That might be the plan.
There are three specific actions you can take when you feel yourself slipping. Call someone in your circle. Step outside. Walk away from whatever is draining you, even if just for thirty minutes.
Small things. But specific. Because when you are in the middle of a hard moment, vague intentions do not help. A plan does.
The thought that keeps you stuck
It’s always about worthiness. The voice that says you are not worth it. That this level of joy, this quality of relationship, this kind of life, is for other people.
That voice is wrong. Full stop.
You see it when you are out in the world. Someone laughing at a table. A stranger who looks genuinely at ease. That is not luck. That is available to you too. This week is the reminder to actually reach for it.
If things are not going well right now
This video is also for you. If life feels heavy, if joy feels distant, I am not asking you to pretend otherwise.
But I am asking you to hold onto one thing: this is not permanent. The difficult stretch is not the whole story. And sometimes the hard part is just the part you are still moving through.
